Greens Topple Dragons, 5-2
|
Boston starter Kevin Adkins pitched well against the Portland Dragons at Arrington Park. The right-hander led his team to a win, 5-2. Miko Hakala was credited with the save for Boston, his 4th of the season. The win gives Boston a record of 15-14.
The Greens got a big boost from catcher Ray Boos who had a run-scoring hit-by-pitch in the bottom of the first inning off Dragons hurler Yandri Vido. It was his 17th RBI of the season and put Boston on top, 1-0.
"I didn't leave too many pitches out over the plate," said Adkins.
