Gaedels Absorb 4-2 Loss at Polo Grounds II
|
New York Titans starter Sergio Saldivar led his team to victory over the St. Louis Gaedels, 4-2. The right-hander was locked-in. Neil Parker recorded his 1st save for New York. With the win, New York boosts its record to 2-2.
New York took control in the bottom of the sixth. With no one out and runners on 1st and 2nd, DeMario Natividad hit a run-scoring single to make it 2-1, Titans.
"I'm proud of the way we took care of business and got the 'W' today," Natividad told the New York Times. "Whatever it takes."
