The home crowd had a good time watching the Houston Aquas and Minneapolis Vikings get after it.
Omar Ozoa led Minneapolis to a win over Houston. The final score was 5-3. The third baseman collected 2 extra-base hits, including 1 home run and 1 double. Minneapolis pitcher Joseph Stark got the win, upping his record to 3-0. Antonio Equihua got the loss. The save was credited to Zee-loo Kim, his 9th.
Minneapolis took a 5-3 lead on Ozoa's 6th double of the season. The run-scoring double, which he hit off Dong-u Jee in the bottom of the sixth, propelled Minneapolis to the win.
Ozoa told a Minneapolis Citizen reporter that he was "gratified" with the win.
The Vikings, now 20-10, have been on a roll in the early going.
