The Phoenix Thunderbirds beat the San Diego Destroyers, 7-3. Phoenix pitcher and Hämeenlinna, Finland, native Eikki Hostikka led the way. Phoenix goes to 10-21.

Min-yul Lee had a big 3-run home run for the Thunderbirds in the top of the first inning. With Phoenix leading 1-0 and runners on 2nd and 3rd, he got a changeup from Keaton Bozek, who finished 3rd in the WC in wins with 16 in 2082, and swatted a home run to left. It was his 5th home run of the season, and more importantly, it put the Thunderbirds ahead, 4-0.

"Chalk one up for the good guys," said Lee. "I'm sure our fans enjoyed that win."
