Starting pitcher Brent Lannin took care of business, helping the St. Louis Gaedels stifle the Philadelphia Spectres, 4-2. With the loss, Philadelphia is 15-14.

St. Louis used a clutch at-bat from Hunter Begley to capture the win. The catcher hammered a 3-run home run in the top of the fourth inning to put the Gaedels ahead, 3-1. It was his lone hit in 4 at-bats, but it was a humdinger.

"We put together a nice win," Begley said.
