Folha goes 3-for-3 as Avispas Squeeze Past Miami
Santiago first baseman Sergio Folha picked up 4 ribbies while helping his team beat back the Miami Cyclones, 7-6. Salvador Romero earned the win to go to 2-1. He allowed 6 runs on 9 hits, with 1 walk and 7 strikeouts in 5 innings of work. Divino Aljeroz earned the save for Santiago.

Santiago used a well-timed hit by Trevor Wise to capture the win. The right fielder socked a 2-run double in the top of the sixth inning to put the Avispas ahead, 7-6. Though it was his only hit in 4 at-bats, it was important.

"The fans pay the tickets and help us do what we do, so we like to put on a show for them," Folha told the Santiago Today.

Miami falls to 10-18.
