The Chicago Phantoms and Santiago Avispas delighted fans at Estadio Guillermón Moncada.

A 4-RBI performance from designated hitter Yem Batista, who is tied for 6th in the EC in RBI with 24, led the Santiago Avispas to a win over the Chicago Phantoms, 9-1. Julius Miller, who leads the EC in quality starts with 5, was the winner. He's now 4-2. The loser was Jake Orthman.

With Santiago leading 3-0 in the bottom of the fifth, Batista hit a sinker from Jake Orthman for a 3-run home run. It was his 10th home run of the season and put the Avispas ahead, 6-0.

"We're feeling good in this clubhouse right now after that one," Batista told the Santiago Herald.

The Avispas, now 22-5, have had a terrific start to the season.
