Maine Gets 9-4 Win Against Rangers
|
Due in large part to right fielder William Sanjines, the Maine Lobster sunk the Buffalo Rangers, 9-4. Sanjines went 2 for 4 with a home run and a double, while adding 5 RBI and scoring once. Ted Ayres picked up the win, lifting his record to 2-2 on the season. He struck out 6 and walked 0 in 5 innings, while yielding 2 runs. Maine has a mark of 17-12 after the win.
Early in the game, Sanjines had a grand slam home run for Maine. It was his 6th home run of the season and put the Lobster on top, 5-1.
