The Vancouver Wolves locked up a win at Fox-Chong Park, knocking off the Las Vegas Aces, 6-3. On the mound for Vancouver was right-hander Hyun-koo Ka. He played a major role in the triumph. Yasniel Ramirez collected save number 1. The victory makes Vancouver 13-16.

Chaim Dijkstra's at-bat in the bottom of the seventh was significant, coming with runners on 2nd and 3rd and the game tied, 1-1. The Vancouver shortstop hit a run-scoring single off Dryden Ice to put the Wolves up.

"I like the vibe in the clubhouse after a win," said Dijkstra. "It sure beats the alternative."
