Nieto Pops Two Homers in 7-5 Win for Seattle
|
Led by Danny Nieto, the Seattle Arrows downed the San Diego Destroyers, 7-5. Nieto hit 2 home runs, while adding 4 RBI and scoring twice for the Arrows. Seattle is now 1-2.
Nieto had a game-changing home run in the top of the ninth. On a 2-0 fastball from Justin Lea, he banged a 2-run home run to center, giving the Arrows a 7-5 lead. It was the 2nd home run of the year for Nieto.
"Winning is hard sometimes," said Arrows manager Dr. Jay Siber. "This one was nice to get."
