The Vancouver Wolves bumped off the Houston Aquas, 9-5, at Tesoro Stadium. Per Fronteira hit 1 single and 3 doubles. He also had 4 runs batted in. Vancouver reliever Chris Chavarria was the winner. His record is now 1-0. Jeff LeCheminant took the loss. With the win, Vancouver improves its record to 3-0.

In the top of the eighth, the Wolves grabbed the lead when Fronteira hit his 3rd double of the season. The bases-clearing double off Armando Montoya made it 7-5, Vancouver.
