McKillip Shines in 7-5 Montreal Win
The Montreal Harfangs defeated the Miami Cyclones, 7-5, in part because of center fielder Bryan McKillip. McKillip went 4 for 5 with a home run, a double, and 2 singles. He scored 2 runs and drove in 3 for the Harfangs. Montreal reliever Dan DuBois picked up the win, raising his record to 1-0. Victor Alonzo was tagged with the loss. The defending champion Harfangs are off to a horrible start to the season, notching only their 6th win in 28 games.

The Harfangs got a big at-bat from catcher Nick Borcherding. For the game, Borcherding went 2 for 4 with 2 doubles. In the bottom of the sixth, with a runner on 3rd, he stroked a run-scoring double. His 4th double of the season gave Montreal a 5-4 lead.

"No time for flexing," said Borcherding. "It's always one game at a time."
