The Minneapolis Vikings grabbed a win, 7-5, over the Las Vegas Aces at Western Coliseum. Minneapolis shortstop Mike Ramirez was 4 for 5 with a home run and 3 singles. He drove in 2 runs and scored once. Minneapolis reliever Miguel Morales snagged the win, upping his record to 1-1. Freddie Fel shouldered the loss. Earning his 7th save of the year was Zee-loo Kim.

Leonilde Tigre came through with a big-time hit for Minneapolis. The right fielder smacked a 2-run home run in the top of the seventh inning to give his team the lead, 5-3. It was his only hit, but it was clutch.

"We'll enjoy this win for now, but it's just one," Tigre told local reporters. "We've got to keep it going."

The Aces drop to 14-15 and continue their mediocre start to the 2083 season.
