The Montreal Harfangs buried the Miami Cyclones, 12-0, under a barrage of hits. Ray Garcia led the onslaught, going 4-for-5 for Montreal. Craig Kruppenbacher got the win, improving to 3-1. He held the Cyclones to no runs on 3 hits over 6 innings, while striking out 5 and walking 3. Montreal, now 17-10, has played well in the early going.

With Montreal leading 1-0 in the bottom of the second, Garcia hit a 2-run single off Miami hurler Jose Madrid. It was the 30th hit of the season for Garcia and put his team ahead, 3-0.
