Vieyra Clubs 2 Home Runs in 7-3 Kansas City Win
The 7-3 Kansas City win over Phoenix was due in large part to Robby Vieyra. The Athletics shortstop hit 2 home runs. He scored 3 times and drove in 3. Phoenix is now 12-15.

The Athletics got a big at-bat from second baseman Brandon Russell. For the game, Russell went 2-4 with a double and a walk, while adding 3 RBI. In the bottom of the fourth, with the bases loaded, he stroked a bases-clearing double. His 4th double of the season gave Kansas City a 4-2 lead.

"It's always nice to be on the winning side," Vieyra told the Kansas City Today. "But we take nothing for granted."
