Win Lifts Toros to 15-12
The bats were silent much of the day at Western Coliseum. But 27-year old catcher Leo Garza produced just enough offense to carry the Toros past the Las Vegas Aces, 3-0. Garza hit 2 home runs, while adding 3 RBI and scoring twice. Tucson pitcher Feng Shuai got the win, upping his record to 3-2. Salomé Sieuve got the loss. Raul Alcaraz notched his 2nd save of the season.

Tucson took a 3-0 lead on Garza's 3rd home run of the season. The 2-run home run, which he hit off Salomé Sieuve in the top of the sixth, propelled Tucson to the win.

Garza called the win the result of "everyone being in sync."

The win gives the Toros a record of 15-12.
