The Philadelphia Spectres picked up a win at Sony Field at Philadelphia, dropping the Toronto Juggernauts, 5-2. Bruce Roque was the difference-maker. The win gives the Spectres a record of 13-13.
The Spectres got a big at-bat from center fielder Lucas Houghton. For the game, Houghton was 1 for 3 with a home run and a walk. He drove in 2 runs and scored once. In the bottom of the sixth, with a runner on 1st, he stroked a 2-run home run. His 1st home run of the season gave Philadelphia a 3-1 lead.
"This level of focus will win us a lot of ballgames," Houghton said after the game.
