Brooklyn second baseman Jack Bird had a 3-RBI game, which proved instrumental to his team beating the Boston Greens, 7-4. Bird picked up 1 single and 1 double in the ballgame. With the loss, Boston drops to 12-14.

With Brooklyn trailing 3-2 in the bottom of the fourth, Bird hit a cutter from Chris Johnston for a bases-clearing double. It was his 8th double of the season and put the Browns ahead, 5-3.

"It doesn't matter if you're 10 games over .500 or 10 games under, it feels good to win," Bird told the Brooklyn Today.
