5 Straight Wins for Vikings
In a low-scoring contest between the Minneapolis Vikings and the Phoenix Thunderbirds, Vismay Falcon, who finished 4th in the WC in ERA with 2.82 in 2081, proved to be the difference. The Minneapolis left-hander earned props for his performance in the 2-0 Vikings win. Jordan Zuniga, summoned from the bullpen, notched his 2nd save. Minneapolis, now 19-9, has played well in the early going.

Who knows how it would've ended, had it not been for Javy Trinidad? The 25-year old third baseman Trinidad stroked a run-scoring double in the top of the eighth inning to put Minneapolis up, 1-0. For the game, he was 3 for 4, including 1 double and 2 singles.
