Denver defeated Seattle, 5-0, in large part due to 24-year old right fielder Dennis Videaux. Videaux drove in 3 runs. The first baseman had 1 double and 2 home runs for the Glaciers. The loss drops Seattle to 14-13.

Alex Guilzar had a big solo home run for the Glaciers in the bottom of the fourth inning. With Denver leading 1-0 and the bases empty, he sized up a curveball from Huggy Bruce, who finished 4th in the EC in innings pitched with 233.1 in 2073, and punished it. The result was his 9th home run of the season, which put the Glaciers on top, 2-0.

"We need to string a few more wins like this one together," said Videaux.
