Dragons Beaten by Destroyers, 7-1
|
At Portland Park, the Portland Dragons and San Diego Destroyers were greeted by an enthusiastic crowd.
San Diego starter Keaton Bozek kept the Portland offense from doing much damage. The left-hander leaned on his curveball in leading the Destroyers to a 7-1 win. With the loss, Portland falls to 18-9.
It could have been a different outcome for San Diego, had it not been for Tucker Adrian, the former first round draft pick . Adrian contributed a 2-run single in the top of the third inning to put San Diego up, 3-0.
"When you are able to locate the ball, good things are going to happen," said Bozek.
