The Houston Aquas topped the Las Vegas Aces, 5-3, in Western Conference action at Western Coliseum. The standout performance belonged to Houston pitcher and Wichita, Kansas, native Ron Gelsomino. The win was credited to former first round draft pick Victor Wix in relief. His record improves to 5-1. Ricardo Riveron took the loss. The loss makes Las Vegas 13-14.
