The San Francisco Friars handed the Vancouver Wolves a sound defeat, 17-2, at Staples Field. Takanobu Tabata, who is rated as the 96th best prospect by BNN, was a main contributor to the win. He went 3-5 with a home run and 2 singles. He scored 3 runs and drove in 7 for San Francisco. Mike Blain, the winning pitcher, is now 1-0.
