Metropolitanos Drop 9-5 Decision
|
The Maine Lobster powered past the Havana Metropolitanos, 9-5, at Ballpark of Portland. Marcos Galarraga went 3-5 with a triple and a double. He scored 3 runs and drove in 2, to lead the charge. The Metropolitanos, 10-16, continue their poor start to the 2084 campaign.
In the bottom of the sixth, the Lobster grabbed the lead when Galarraga hit his 8th double of the season. The 2-run double off David Morales made it 6-5, Maine.
"The name of the game is scoring runs," Galarraga said. "We did a good job of that today."
