Santiago turned a fine outing from starter Satoru Sugimoto into a victory over the Boston Greens at Arrington Park. The final score was 5-2. Now 19-4, the 2084 Avispas have been sensational so far.

Angel Ramirez had a big solo home run for the Avispas in the top of the fourth inning. With Santiago leading 1-0 and the bases empty, he sized up a fastball from 24-year old right-handed pitcher Javy Alejo and punished it. The result was his 3rd home run of the season, which put the Avispas on top, 2-0.

"There's a lot of good karma around our club," said winning manager Jacob Pauly.
