Brito Rips 2 Homers in 13-4 Win
The Las Vegas Aces beat the Montreal Harfangs, 13-4, at Western Coliseum. Bobby Brito, who finished 3rd in the WC in on-base percentage with .429 in 2081, starred for Las Vegas. He went 3 for 4 with 2 home runs, a double, and a walk, while scoring 4 times and driving in 7. Yolber Ajete, the winner, improved to 2-3. He held Montreal to 4 runs on 5 hits over 6.1 innings, while racking up 7 strikeouts. Montreal, at 4-20, is off to a dreadful start in 2084.

With Las Vegas leading 9-4 in the bottom of the eighth, Brito came up to bat against Montreal pitcher Ryan Guse. Brito hit a sinker to left-center for a grand slam home run. His 7th home run of the season put the Aces on top, 13-4.

"We maximized our offense today," said Las Vegas skipper Justin Coroian. "That makes everyone's life easier."
