Las Vegas took on Houston in front of a lively crowd.
Good production from left fielder Sardis Abrego helped the Las Vegas Aces topple the Houston Aquas, 7-4. Abrego went 2-3 with a home run and a walk. He scored 2 runs and drove in 2 for the Aces. The win puts Las Vegas at 13-12.
Center Fielder Kadri Dhamo made an impact for Las Vegas, when he swatted a 2-run double off Axel Mendiola in the bottom of the third. For the contest, Dhamo was 2 for 3 with a double and a walk, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once.
"What we get, we earn," Dhamo told the Las Vegas Gazette.
