Juggernauts Rally Late to Clip Washington
|
The Toronto Juggernauts wiggled past the Washington Senators, 3-2, in 11 innings at The ESPN Zone. The win was highlighted by the performance of Toronto pitcher Fisko Loera. Jesus Carbajal, who finished 5th in the EC in ERA with 3.13 in 2074, nailed down the save. Washington drops to 11-13.
Loera gave Toronto a blue-ribbon performance. The 6-foot-0 right-hander allowed no runs on 2 hits over 8 innings of work.
"Fisko was throwing strikes, locating well," said Toronto manager Marc Arnold.
