Houston right fielder Edgar Albuja had a 5-RBI game, which helped his team beat the Vancouver Wolves, 8-2. Houston pitcher Yasuhiro Katayama got the win, upping his record to 2-0. Cody Goings got the loss. With the win, Houston improves its record to 14-11.

Frank Lung drew 2 walks for Houston. The former first round draft pick had a key at-bat in the top of the sixth. With no one out and the bases loaded, he broke a 2-2 tie with a run-scoring walk off Cody Goings. It was his 11th walk of the season.
