Arrows Win 3-2 Walk-Off
|
The Seattle Arrows, despite a fine performance by Alaska pitcher Quinn Topp, grabbed a 3-2 win at Power Ballpark. Topp allowed 1 run over 7 innings. Seattle has a record of 9-15.
The Arrows were down to their last out in the bottom of the ninth inning, when 24-year old first baseman Brian Prochazka landed a big blow. He turned a first pitch sinker from Xiang-ling Khoo into a 2-run single. The walk-off single sent the Power Ballpark denizens into a frenzy and sent the Arrows home with a thrilling 3-2 win.
"It was a good effort all around," said Prochazka.
