The Havana Metropolitanos dealt the New York Titans a 5-3 loss at Polo Grounds II. Andy Gonzales was the star on offense. He went 2-4 with a home run, a double, and a walk. He drove in 3 runs and scored once. The win gives Havana a record of 10-14.

With Havana leading 2-1 in the top of the fifth, Gonzales hit a changeup from Corey LaCognata for a 3-run home run. It was his 1st home run of the season and put the Metropolitanos ahead, 5-1.

Havana manager Kevin Mayerhofer was pleased with the team's effort. "Our guys played hard," he said.
