The Buffalo Rangers topped the Maine Lobster, 11-1, with center fielder Keiji Kawashima playing a big role. Kawashima went 4-4 with a home run, a double, 2 singles, and a walk, while scoring 2 runs and driving in 2 for the Rangers in the win. Buffalo reliever Yukichi Jimbo was the winner.
