The rain did not keep Havana and Maine from finishing their game.

The exploits of designated hitter Mario Murillo, who is tied for 9th in the EC with a .595 slugging percentage, helped the Havana Metropolitanos defeat the Maine Lobster, 5-1. Murillo was 1-3 with a home run and a walk. He drove in 3 runs and scored once. The save was credited to Josh Trejo, his 8th.

Murillo had a key at-bat in the bottom of the third to put Havana in front, 2-0. With the bases loaded, he drew a walk, driving in 1 run off Maine pitcher Alcides Zaldivar.
