The Philadelphia Spectres did just enough to sneak past the Toronto Juggernauts, 6-5, at Molson Park. Philadelphia second baseman Eddie Kelly, in particular, had a standout performance. The win belonged to Warren Dooks in relief. His record improves to 2-0. Fisko Loera took the loss for Toronto. The save was Alberto Zamora's, his 2nd.

Philadelphia won the game in part because of Steve Bedoya. The shortstop ripped a solo home run in the top of the seventh inning to put the Spectres ahead, 5-4. For the game, Bedoya had 1 double and 1 home run in 5 at-bats.

"If you want to be considered a good team, these are the kind of games you have to win," said Philadelphia manager Ryan Huff.

Toronto falls to 11-10.
