Gheldere Shines in 6-3 Tucson Win
Tucson and Los Angeles duked it out and the Toros came out victorious.

The Tucson Toros dealt the Los Angeles Stars a 6-3 loss at Aetna Stadium. Martyn Gheldere was the star on offense. He slugged 3 home runs, while adding 6 RBI and scoring three times. With the win, Tucson boosts its record to 11-11.

Gheldere had a game-changing home run in the bottom of the sixth. On a 1-0 fastball from Danny Serrano, he banged a 2-run home run to left, giving the Toros a 4-3 lead. It was the 4th home run of the year for Gheldere.

Said losing manager Pat Kaers: "We just didn't get it done tonight."
