Dragons Take Home 4-2 Win Over Denver
|
Portland got a strong outing from Yahya Kanoro as the Dragons defeated the Denver Glaciers, 4-2, at Portland Park. Kanoro, now 2-1, was the winner. In 7.2 innings, he gave up 4 hits, while striking out 9, walking 1, and allowing 2 runs. Charlie Petipas picked up the save for Portland, his 8th of the year.
Donner Munro helped out the Portland cause in the bottom of the fifth inning with a 2-run single. For the game, the third baseman was 1-3 with a walk. He drove in 2 runs.
"If you beat me, you beat me, if not, good things will happen," said Kanoro.
Losses have been rare for the Glaciers, who are now 15-6.
