Greens Walk It Off for 1st Win of Season
The performance of Kevin Shouse proved critical in helping Boston beat Miami, 5-4, in 11 innings. The Greens shortstop went 4 for 5 with 2 triples and 2 singles, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once. The win gives Boston a record of 1-1.

The Greens got a clutch hit from catcher Ray Boos. In the bottom of the 11th, he delivered a run-scoring single to win the game for the Greens.

"It was a test of wills," said Matt Glazer, the Boston skipper. "I'm glad we came out of it with a win."
