Rangers Subdue New York, 3-2
|
In a low-scoring clash between Buffalo and New York, pitcher Julius Miller was a difference-maker. The right-hander earned praise for his performance in the 3-2 Rangers win. Alejandro Silva earned save number 1 this season. The Titans fall to 8-13 and continue their uneven start to the 2086 season.
Jose Puga drove in one run for Buffalo. The 24-year old center fielder had a key at-bat in the bottom of the sixth. With one out and runners on 1st and 3rd, he broke a 2-2 tie with a run-scoring sacrifice fly off Sergio Saldivar. It was his 2nd RBI of the season.
"Got a lot of swings and misses today," said Miller.
