The Montreal Harfangs got a whale of a performance from pitcher Marcos Sordia, but the Boston Greens still prevailed, 1-0, in 12 innings. Sordia threw 7.0 innings of shutout ball. Boston reliever Juan Colleano was credited with the win. His record goes to 2-0. Jorge Baeza took the loss for Montreal. The win gives the Greens a record of 10-9.

The clutch at-bat came in the bottom of the 12th inning, when Boston designated hitter Brian Snavley, facing Jorge Baeza, had a run-scoring walk. It gave the Greens the 1-0 win.

"This place was rocking at the end," Snavley said.
