Cedillo Helps Dragons Beat Glaciers, 9-6
|
The 9-6 Portland win over Denver was due in large part to Jairo Cedillo. The Dragons designated hitter went 4-5 with a home run, a double, and 2 singles. He drove in 3 runs and scored once. Charlie Petipas, who was drafted in the 2nd round of the 2076 draft, earned the save for Portland. At 16-5, the 2085 Dragons have been excellent so far.
In the bottom of the sixth, the Dragons grabbed the lead when Cedillo hit his 8th home run of the season. The 3-run home run off Jose Arruebarrena made it 8-5, Portland.
"I'm trying to see the ball big, see the ball up in the zone and put the barrel on it," Cedillo told the Portland Today.
