Pitcher Ryan Surette was sensational for the Cincinnati Twins in his team's 9-0 triumph over the St. Louis Gaedels. Surette earned the win. St. Louis, now 3-18, continues its dreadful start.

Surette, the winning pitcher, goes to 1-0 on the season. In 8.2 innings, the left-hander limited the opposition to no runs on 1 hit, while recording 6 punchouts. Surette and the Twins were able to cruise to victory.
