Maine Rallies for 5-1 Win
The Maine Lobster faced a tough opponent in Havana pitcher Benito Cossutta, but did just enough to pull out the victory at Estadio Latinoamericano by a final score of 5-1. Cossutta went 6.2 innings and allowed 1 run. Alex Esquibel notched the win in relief. The left-hander allowed no runs on 2 hits in 1.2 innings. His record now sits at 2-1. The Metropolitanos drop to 8-13.

Bitgaram Mangjeol drove in one run for Maine. The two-time Gold Glove Award winner had a key at-bat in the top of the ninth. With no one out and the bases loaded, he broke a 1-1 tie with a run-scoring sacrifice fly off Josh Trejo. It was his 2nd RBI of the season.

Maine manager Matthew McExpos commended his team for "banging out a nice win."
