Maine took on Havana in front of a lively crowd.
Maine first baseman Marcos Galarraga made his presence felt in the 9-5 Lobster triumph over the Havana Metropolitanos. Galarraga was 2 for 3 with a double and 2 walks, while scoring 4 runs. With the loss, Havana falls to 11-9.
Adir Barrabi had a big 2-run double for the Lobster in the bottom of the fourth inning. With Maine leading 5-4 and runners on 1st and 2nd, he got a sinker from 25-year old right-handed pitcher Luis Casillas and swatted a double to right. It was his 6th double of the season, and more importantly, it put the Lobster ahead, 7-4.
"Getting a lot of baserunners and getting some timely hits, it's a good combination," said Barrabi.
