Kings Turn Back Juggernauts, 5-3
|
The Baltimore Kings defeated the Toronto Juggernauts, 5-3, at Molson Park. Baltimore catcher Sam Waltz had a superb performance. He was 2 for 5 with a home run. He drove in 3 runs and scored once. Chris Audibert got the save, the 1st for him this season. The Juggernauts fall to 8-11 and continue their uneven start to the 2085 season.
With Baltimore leading 1-0 in the top of the second, Waltz hit a fastball from Carl Rodda for a 3-run home run. It was his 2nd home run of the season and put the Kings ahead, 4-0.
Waltz attributed the win to "everyone pulling their weight."
