The Vancouver Wolves topped the Las Vegas Aces, 8-2, with catcher Yasuhiro Tsumoto playing a big role. Tsumoto went 1 for 3 with a home run, a walk, and was hit by a pitch. He drove in 4 runs and scored once for the Wolves in the win. Las Vegas is 10-9 after the defeat.

With Vancouver trailing 1-0 in the top of the fourth, Tsumoto hit a changeup from Yolber Ajete for a 2-run home run. It was his 2nd home run of the season and put the Wolves ahead, 2-1.

Tsumoto called the win the result of "everyone being in sync."
