A nice crowd turned out for a clash between the Denver Glaciers and San Diego Destroyers.

The Denver Glaciers bumped off the San Diego Destroyers, 7-3, at Seaward Stadium. Alex Guilzar hit 2 singles and 1 double. He also had 2 runs batted in. She Wang earned the win after being summoned from the bullpen. The left-hander allowed 1 run on 2 hits in 1.1 innings. He upped his record to 2-0.

Had Guilzar not come through in the top of the seventh, the outcome might have changed. Instead, with two down, Guilzar hit a 2-run single. The Glaciers never looked back after taking the 4-2 lead.

Guilzar attributed the win to "a well-rounded effort by the whole team."

The Glaciers, now 14-5, have been on fire in the early going.
