Kazama Shines in 8-1 Brooklyn Win
|
Browns designated hitter Michiyo Kazama left his mark on his team's 8-1 win over the Miami Cyclones. Kazama went 3-5 with a home run and 2 singles. He scored 2 runs and drove in 4 for Brooklyn in the contest. Cris Ramos went 6.1 innings for Brooklyn to pick up the win. The left-hander was charged with 1 run. He scattered 5 hits, while walking 1 and striking out 4. His record improves to 2-0. The win puts Brooklyn at 11-9.
With Brooklyn trailing 1-0 in the top of the second, Kazama hit a fastball from Jeremy Fitch for a 2-run home run. It was his 3rd home run of the season and put the Browns ahead, 2-1.
