The Montreal Harfangs defeated the Boston Greens, 6-4, in Eastern Conference action at Arrington Park. Montreal pitcher Tom Dobie had a standout performance. Alex Villalobos nailed down the save. At 12-6, the Harfangs have played well so far.

Montreal second baseman Ricky Rangel contributed a timely at-bat in the top of the fifth. With two down, he hit a fastball to left field for a 2-run single. It was his 18th hit of the season and put the Harfangs ahead, 4-2.

"Tom pounded the strike zone and made good pitches when he needed to," said Montreal manager Brendan Henry.
