Despite a great performance by Maine second baseman Justin Zehr, the Havana Metropolitanos defeated the Lobster by the score of 7-5 at Estadio Latinoamericano. Zehr went 1 for 2 with a home run, while adding 4 RBI and scoring once. The win gives Havana a record of 8-11.

Havana took a 6-5 lead on Alex Arias's 2nd double of the season. The 2-run double, which Arias hit in the bottom of the eighth, left Maine pitcher Eddie Ferrufino visibly frustrated.

Arias said, "Whether you hit the ball hard, you walk, you have a long at-bat, 10 or 12 pitches, or you hit a homer, you're just trying to do anything you can do to help the team win."
