Avispas Bedevil Greens, 2-1
In a tight affair between the Santiago Avispas and the Boston Greens, pitcher Salvador Romero was in the zone. The Santiago left-hander helped his team win the game, 2-1. Santiago pitcher Bobby Jaramillo got the win. He's now 1-0. Martin Zambello was tagged with the loss. Mario Carrisalez got credit for the save for Santiago. It was his 1st of the year.

Santiago went up, 2-1, on Yem Batista's 3rd home run of the season. The solo home run, which Batista hit in the top of the eighth, left Boston pitcher Martin Zambello stewing.

"I tried to mix it up, keep them off balance," said Romero.

Santiago goes to 15-4 with the win.
