Neria goes 4-for-4, Leads Miami to 9-2 Win
|
Miami took on Brooklyn in front of a lively crowd.
The 9-2 Miami win over Brooklyn was due in large part to Jose Neria. The Cyclones catcher went 4 for 4 with a double, 3 singles, and a walk. He scored 3 times. Brooklyn falls to 6-11.
Lan-quing Rao helped out the Miami cause in the top of the second inning with a run-scoring ground out. For the game, the left fielder was 1-4.
"What a dismal performance," lamented losing manager Jason Cormier.
