Win Makes Kodiaks 12-7
|
The home crowd had a good time watching the Seattle Arrows and Alaska Kodiaks get after it.
Alaska Kodiaks pitcher Jack Perry was in top form, leading his team past the Seattle Arrows, 4-1. J.D. Haynes earned the save for Alaska.
The Kodiaks got a big at-bat from first baseman Lanny Tabares. For the game, Tabares was 1-4 with a home run, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once. In the bottom of the sixth, with runners on 1st and 3rd, he stroked a 3-run home run. His 2nd home run of the season gave Alaska a 4-1 lead.
"I went out and just tried to do my job," said Perry.
The Arrows, now 6-13, continue their slow start.
